POWERFLOR is a complete LOW PROFILE CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM that includes electrical power outlets and cabling, voice/data outlets and cabling, and a completely modular carpeted chaseway floor.

 

DESCRIPTION

The POWERFLOR OPTION is based on the concept of integrating the elements of power/voice/data services with a totally modular chaseway that functions as a complete deck located floor system. By integrating these elements you can provide the services to your staff in a very flexible, accessible, and cost effective manner. This is accomplished by integrating three basic disciplines.

 

 

 

The Chaseway

Is achieved using a standard 18" x 18" or 50 CM X 50CM panel assembly. This assembly is constructed of four 9" or 50 CM square polycarbonate pedestals that are attached to a standard carpet tile, which results in a 3" high system. This panel is installed " loose-laid " over a foam underlay and is capable of having an outlet mounting kit (Powerport) installed in the center of each pedestal as required. Other chaseway components include perimeters, which are field cut to fill in odd dimension areas and Ramps & Railings for both ADA and Non-ADA access to the system.

The Electrical Power

Is a pre-manufactured wiring system that provides four 20 amp. Circuits per leg. All connections are multi-conductor quick disconnect type that allow for connection and disconnect without tools. Four simple components make up this system, the Junction box which receives a Duplex outlet Insert identified with its circuit feed designation, a Double-Ended Cable Harness for connection between Junction boxes and a Single-Ended Cable Harness for connection to building.

The Low Voltage Services (Data, Voice, Video, Security, etc.)

Is provided using Pre-Terminated Cables, Category 6 ( 4 pr. UTP Copper ) as standard,  & Fiber as options. And Modular Data Outlet Kits with various connectors as required.
