Powerflor uses as a standard any 18” x 18” or 50
cm x 50 cm carpet tile.
Most carpet tile
manufacturers offer Hard-Back or Cushion-back type tiles.
Cushion / Soft backings are typically PVC free, which allows us
to use “ Pressure Sensitive Adhesive “ in mounting our pedestals
to the carpet tile. This
provides the client with the opportunity to change carpet tiles
at any time in the future, with greater ease.
Vinyl / Hard backings
can be used, but usually requires use of permanent adhesive.
This eliminates the opportunity to change a soiled or damaged
carpet tile, without replacing the whole panel.
